Baptism
A sign and seal of belonging in the family of God and the local church
Baptism is a sacrament—a practice instituted by Jesus—for the New Testament and present-day Church. When a person is baptized, the church officially and warmly receives them as members of our church family.
Baptism is a sign and seal of God’s covenant of grace that affirms God's promises to love, lead, and keep his people through Christ.
We believe baptism is similar to circumcision - the sign and seal of God’s covenant of grace in the Old Testament - but is accessible to all believers, as well as their children.
