Seasonal women's events

quarterly forums

CPC Women hosts quarterly, city-wide forums at Cabana restaurant in Hillsboro Village. Our forums are listen and learn events with time to connect with other women who share an interest in issues relating specifically to women - both mercy and justice and faith and work. As we publicly share our faith with our Nashville neighbors and connect over a common interest, our prayer is that relationships will develop and grow. Registration is required and a buffet dinner is served.

MOMS & MORE

Moms & More is a monthly gathering from September – May, designed specifically for moms of infants and preschool children to connect with each other through the common bond of the work they share. Each month a light brunch is served followed by a featured speaker who will encourage you as a mother and as a woman much loved by God. We also provide time at the end to discuss the month’s topic within a small group setting facilitated by mentoring moms. All moms of young children are welcome. Children enrolled in childcare will enjoy music, crafts, and Bible stories. No cost but registration is required.

Girls' Night Out & Summer salads

Our quarterly Girls' Night Out and Summer Salad events are multi-generational and recommended if you are desiring connection with other women through organically formed relationships and mentoring opportunities. CPC Women believes that as we come together in community, we can begin the natural process of sharing life with one another. These events are for CPC women and their Nashville neighbors – the more the merrier!

Typically these parties are hosted by a CPC member at her home on a weekday evening.  Salad and beverages are provided and those attending are usually asked to bring an appetizer - homemade or store bought. Registration is required as space is limited.

Quiet Days

Our Quiet Days are recommended if you are hungry for deeper intimacy with God through a directed silent retreat. Quiet Days, scheduled several times a year, are opportunities for women to be still before God, seek his face through scripture and rest in his presence. In certain seasons of life, longer silent retreats are not always possible so we invite you to five hours of intentional time away from the demands of everyday life. In retreat we can be refreshed in mind, body and spirit while sharing God’s goodness in community with other women.

Our Quiet Days are typically held at a location not more than 30 minutes from our Central location. The cost is $20, which includes lunch. Please bring your Bible, a pen, a journal or spiral notebook, a blanket or folding chair if you want to sit outside and comfortable shoes for walking.
