When are Christ presbyterian’s Worship services?
Where is Christ presbyterian located?
We have two locations and are launching a third location this fall. Our Central location address is 2323 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, 37215. We have reserved and handicapped parking on both sides of the church building.
Our Intown location meets on Sundays in the Scarritt Bennett Center across the street from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. The meeting address is 1008 19th Avenue, Nashville, 37212. Our weekday offices are located at 2535 8th Avenue South Suite 101, Nashville, 37204.
What should I wear to Sunday services?
Dress in whatever is most comfortable to you. While some will be in coat-and-tie or dresses, others will be dressed in jeans or something more casual. It is what’s in the heart, not the outward appearance that matters most.
Where Should a Visitor Go, Once On Campus?
If you're at the Central campus, find the Welcome Center located in the lobby just outside the main sanctuary. Our Hospitality Team will answer all your questions. While there, don't forget to pick up your complimentary Visitor's Gift (you're gonna love it!).
We also have a Welcome Center at our Intown location. Look for the sign when you enter the Wightman Chapel.
How Will I fit in at Christ presbyterian?
We are a multi-generational church desiring to create a hospitable place of belonging for every type of person. Whatever your religious beliefs, political leanings, preferred attire, economic bracket, profession, ethnicity, culture, marital status, or music taste, we want our church to be a place where you can process and grow in your thoughts about God and the role he has for you in his world, and where you can be in life together with other people.
does Christ presbyterian celebrate the Lord’s Supper?
Yes, we celebrate the Lord’s Supper every Sunday at both locations.

Where do I take my children?
Central location: There are two check-in stations: For newborns through three-year-olds the nursery is located in our preschool building, next to the breezeway. For four-year-olds through sixth-grade, please stop by the Kids Welcome Center in the Elementary building and someone will be glad to walk you where you need to go.
Intown location: Childcare is available for infants through 4th grade. A children’s bulletin and sermon quiz are provided for children attending the worship service. While the worship service is in Wightman Chapel, childcare is provided in Bennett Hall, directly north of Wightman Chapel. Look for the signs directing you to our child registration area.
Do I need to bring anything for my children?
Please bring the following to the nursery (birth through 3-years):
- Clearly labeled sippy cup
- Individual snack if your child has specific allergies
- Change of clothes
- Lovie, pacifier or blanket for comfort
Ours is a well-child nursery, so please be sure your children are free of the following symptoms for 24 hours:
- Runny nose
- Chronic cough
- Throat infections
- Any contagious disease
Where do Junior and Senior High students go?
Students classes meet Sundays at 10 a.m. in the Hope House. The Hope House is located on the eastern edge of the Central campus. We encourage youth to worship together, or with their families during the 8:30 a.m. service. For more information about our Students Ministry.
Do you have classes specifically for college students?
Our college students are welcome to connect in any of our CORE discipleship classes and/or serve on Sunday mornings. To meet for coffee, enjoy a home-cooked meal, visit with a family, or hear about local ministry partners on your college campus, contact Cammy Bethea. We have a Missional Community entirely devoted to welcoming our college students–and we’re so glad you’re here!
Do you have Sunday classes for Young Adults (married and/or single without kids)?
For an update on what’s happening with Young Adults, pick up an information card at the Welcome Center at either location.
Do you have small groups?
We do have ongoing Small Groups (resources and sermon-based questions for which are posted here). Many attendees opt-in annually for our short-term “Connect Groups,” which meet for 6-8 weeks in homes and apartments around Nashville. Connect Groups provide an environment for members and friends to connect and consider sermon-based questions together. Often, Connect Groups will continue meeting as ongoing Small Groups.
