All project details should be submitted with the initial project request. The Communication department is not able to serve as a ministry's research team tracking down details for a proposed project. Submit requests to email@example.com.
Project details should include:
- Event date and time
- Speaker's name, and final bio
- Speaker’s topic
- Final description of event
- Location (building and room) of event
- Childcare provisions
- RSVP form and URL
The Communications department creates promotions that raise general awareness for ministry events. It is the ministry's responsibility to develop a relationship with their constituents through email and meetings, in order to build a database that can be utilized for ongoing one-to-one promotion.
In order to streamline communication and keep registrations in a central database, ministries should use the Church Community Builder (CCB) database system to capture registrations (RSVPs) for events promoted to the public. Avoid using email address to gather RSVPs. When communicating with an internal group about a private event, you may gather RSVPs however you prefer.
