Direct Mail Campaigns

Direct mail campaigns to the community or to church membership should be facilitated by a third-party vendor. Here are the steps:

  1. Work with Communications team designers to create a full-color 6x11 two-sided postcard. Designers have template on their computers.

  2. Edit postcard for spelling and confirm that all URLs and/or email addresses contained in the mailer are active.

  3. Contact Monica Robertson at Parris Printing.

  4. Give Monica your audience need and project timeline. We typically send out direct mail pieces to radius of 3 miles of the event being promoted. This radius typically equates to 2,500-3,000 households. Monica will coordinate purchasing a community mailing list, printing the postcard and getting it mailed out.

  5. Ask Monica to include a couple addresses that will allow us to verify that the postcards actually made it out via USPS.  For example, one address could be your home address.

  6. Parris Printing will send 2 invoices — one for the postage, one for the printing.
