Our newest Missional Community, the Preston Taylor Ministries Missional Community, will support the year-round work of Preston Taylor Ministries, founded in 1998 to confront many of the problems present in the Preston Taylor public housing area, including problems like drug use, gang involvement, teenage pregnancy, illiteracy, poor school performance and crime. PTM provides hope for children and families living in this environment by sponsoring opportunities to build life-changing relationships. The leadership team for this brand-new Missional Community is eager to launch and serve together!
This Missional Community is starting because several Christ Presbyterian members who worship at our Music Row location have been involved at Preston Taylor Ministries for some time and wanted to invite others to get involved with them as they seek to empower youth and children to grow and learn and discover God-inspired dreams.

Email Kelly Bradway and join the new Facebook Group to receive more information, updates of what’s ahead, and pictures/follow-up. Selected events and dates have already been chosen—including December 7 and 18! Special initiatives will continue in January 2019 and thereafter—sign-up with Kelly to begin receiving emails once a month about what’s next! Can’t make the December dates? Join us in 2019!
Upcoming Ways to Serve
Friday Night Lights: December 7 from 5:30-8 p.m. Help set-up, serve dinner and offer games/hangout with 30 PTM kids in grades 6-12. Email Kelly Bradway to sign-up.
Wrapping Party: December 18 from 2:15-6:15 p.m. Help Junior High PTM students select and then wrap new gifts purchased on-site for their family members. Sign-up using this form.
