WHAT IS HOST TEAM?
The CPC Host Team is a group of volunteers who are passionate about making others feel welcome and included. We love to serve others, and do it with a smile! We are men and women from all phases of life, working together to ensure that every guest who walks through CPC’s doors feels genuinely welcomed, cared for, and accepted. When guests feel at ease in a new church environment, their hearts then become more available to receive the message of Christ.
There are many ways to serve on the Host Team: greeting, opening doors, handing out bulletins, collecting offering, and cleaning up after services. Though some of these tasks may seem simple, Host Team Leaders train Host Team Members to make the most of every interaction with guests and attendees. Each Host Team Member is assigned a specific location with a specific job, and serves in that capacity every Sunday. Each Host Team Member will receive job-specific training, pointers, and resources to ensure that he or she feels equipped to do the job well – equipped to make a difference!
