Our newest Missional Community, Yarning for Hope, invites you to join them this year in providing comfort and care to the women supported by Hope Clinic for Women by knitting and crocheting treasures for their babies—led by Leah Jensen-Rader, Jamie Schoepke and Marci Hedegard, pictured below left to right.

About Hope Clinic for Women: This Nashville non-profit helps women, men and families dealing with unplanned pregnancy, prevention, and pregnancy loss—including abortion and postpartum depression.

Get Involved

All Christ Presbyterian members and Nashville friends are invited to join! Still a beginner? Or advanced? All levels welcome—even those with no knitting or crocheting experience (yet). Interested in non-knitting opportunities to serve together at Hope Clinic for Women? Sign-up to get involved by emailing Marci Hedegard and also join the Yarning for Hope Facebook Group.

Upcoming Ways to Serve

Monday, February 11: Yarning for Hope is hosting a special introductory gathering with refreshments at 10 a.m. in the Music Row hallway at our Old Hickory Blvd location. Want to meet the leadership team? Want to learn more? Want to see what's ahead? Mark your calendars and RSVP to Marci Hedegard!

Ongoing (second Mondays): Yarning for Hope will meet together from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Music Row hallway at our Old Hickory Blvd location. Bring a friend. All welcome.

Serve on-site at Hope Clinic for Women in April, June and October:

April (date TBA): On-site organizing seasonal donations in their Clothing Room then connecting over coffee together afterward.

June 8 (tentative): From 9-11:30 a.m. assist with their Mailing then nearby lunch/fellowship provided immediately afterward.

October (date TBA): Delivering refreshments for their Bridge Class participants then Missional Community dinner and prayer nearby immediately afterward.

This Missional Community is starting because several Christ Presbyterian members believe in the mission of Hope Clinic for Women and wanted to invite others to get involved with them as they seek to support this important Missional Partnership.
