Dear CPC family and friends,
Now that Easter is behind us and summer is ahead of us, I wanted to check in and encourage us all to stay the course with regular time in Scripture. This year, we are encouraging those who don't already have a Bible reading plan to consider using She Reads Truth or He Reads Truth. Since January, both resources have taken readers through studies in Exodus, Lent and Easter, and now the pastoral letters of Paul. Next up, beginning Monday, April 23, She/He Reads Truth will begin a new, daily study on the Psalms as our guide for prayer.
If you are already reading along in these studies with us, drop me an email (simply reply to this one) and let me know how it's going for you.
If you would like to sign up for the daily Scriptures and reflections to be delivered to your email inbox, you can subscribe to She Reads Truth here, and for He Reads Truth here. The resource is free of charge and is a great way to begin a daily routine of Bible reading and reflection.
A little secret: Personally, I like to read both the "He" and "She" versions each day. This gives me the benefit of both a male and female perspective on the Scriptures for each day. Perhaps that's something you might want to consider, also!
I hope you're having a terrific week. See you Sunday!
