We’ll be studying the New Testament book of Hebrews. Why study Hebrews? Because Hebrews helps us understand why Jesus is worth our time and attention.
Does Jesus make any difference to us when we’re disappointed, disillusioned or fearful? What about in times of doubt, is Jesus really who the Bible says he is)? Hebrews helps us understand why and how a growing intimacy with God is possible.
Author/teacher Nancy Guthrie’s book*, Hoping for Something Better will be our guide as we delve into why Jesus makes a difference to us. Nancy will join us at our first study on June 11!
Expect to be challenged and encouraged. We’ll increase our grasp of God’s word and get to know other women in our church community better.
*Nancy Guthrie's book, which will lead our study and discussion, will be available for purchase at the first meeting. While this is not required, it could be a useful tool to have as we go through our Hebrews study this summer!
