MOMS & MORE FAqs

Do I have to register?

Yes. We open registration for each season (September-May) of Moms & More in July. You will need to register at this time because Moms & More fills up quickly. If you need childcare, please register your child(ren) to help ensure that we have the right number of childcare workers.

Can I register for one Moms & More session at a time?

Typically Moms & More fills up (due to space limitations) during the July registration, so we recommend registering at that time. If you miss this registration, we will add you to the waiting list and contact you when there is space available.

Do I have to attend Christ Presbyterian Church to come?

No. Moms & More is open to moms from everywhere! Because Moms & More is meant to be a resource for women all over Nashville, there are moms from other churches and moms who aren’t involved in any church. Each month you'll get to meet some wonderful new faces.

Is it just for stay-at-home moms?

No. It is for all moms! Working moms, stay at home moms, single moms, married moms, moms who feel overwhelmed, moms who live in their sweats because showering takes too much effort, homeschool moms, etc. You get the picture.

Will there be food?

Yes! And the good news is that it's good, homemade food that you don't have to cook or clean up. And there is always coffee!

How much will this cost me?

Nothing, it’s free! And...there are door prizes! So, you want to come on time for drawings for date night gift cards and other life-giving surprises.

What will my children do while I’m in Moms and More?

Our children’s ministry staff and volunteers are amazing. Each month they have a creative theme planned for your kids—including story time with age-specific lessons, art, crafts, games and music time. Your children will want to come back again and again!

is this a good place to talk to someone about my struggles?

Absolutely. We structure Moms & More with two mentoring moms at each table. Mentoring moms are women who have older children; some have teens and some are grandmothers. The common bond is that God has given them a love for investing in younger moms. And growing together in trusted friendship outside of the monthly meetings is a big part of the “more” in Moms & More!
