Kids Ministry Happenings in October

For creative ideas on spiritually leading your family, visit Home Front Magazine. We also have printed magazines available each month at the Kids Welcome Center and the Nursery Building. Also, remember to check our Parenting Resource area in the Lower School Building for a variety of books and resources that change every few weeks.

MISSIONAL LIVING HIGHLIGHT: SHOW HOPE

Our first Missional Living Highlight of the year will be October 28 featuring Show Hope! Show Hope was founded by Mary Beth and Stephen Curtis Chapman in 2003. Their mission is to care for orphans by engaging the Church and reducing barriers to adoption. It is accomplished through four primary areas of focus: Adoption Aid, Care Centers, Pre+Post Adoption Support, and Student Initiatives.

Kids can respond by bringing in:

1. Travel size bottles of Johnson & Johnson baby lotion (traditional fragrance)

2. Teething toys

3. Desitin diaper rash cream (maximum strength)

4. Mid-calf length socks with non-skid bumps (Preemie-3T)

Reception bins available Nov. 4, 11 & 18
