A Look Ahead To Sunday, January 22:
We look forward to a special time of worshiping the Lord together. Our service will include an assembly song featuring Gordon Mote; congregational praise; the infant baptism of Ella Rose Lampley, daughter of Troy and Sandy Lampley; and a sermon preached by the Rev. Scott Sauls, "The 13th Day of Christmas," with Ephesians 2:1-10 as the main Scriptural text. A Look Back To Sunday, January 15:
Our Worship service included several connections to CPC's new Small Groups study based on Dr. Philip Graham Ryken's book, King Solomon: The Temptations of Money, S-x and Power. Our sermon, "The Wisdom of the Sword", taught by Pastor David Filson, drew upon the powerful story of Solomon and the two prostitutes in 1 Kings 3:1-28.
