The Rev. Scott Sauls

As presented to the congregation on Sunday, January 8, 2012, the Pastor-Search Committee of Christ Presbyterian Church joyfully recommended the Rev. Christopher Scott Sauls to the church to be its next Senior Pastor.

**UPDATE: FEBRUARY 2, 2012**

"Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice." (Philippians 4:4 ESV)

Rejoice indeed! This is a great day for Christ Presbyterian Church. It is a pleasure to announce that the Rev. Scott Sauls has accepted the call to be our new Senior Pastor. Scott met with the Session last night, and there was a truly remarkable and joyful spirit of unity and support expressed. Several final steps at the Presbytery level should be completed by mid-February (along with a technical vote to address in a brief congregational meeting soon).

While details concerning schedule and relocation have yet to be finalized, we hope that Scott will begin at CPC by early- to mid-March. For now, we wanted to relay the momentous news that he has responded affirmatively to the call.

We have much for which to be thankful about how this search has concluded. Let us rejoice together today in what the Lord has done! And let us look forward to what He will do in our congregation and in our city in the coming days.
