Honoring Pastor Wilson and Pam Benton

Reception on Sunday, Feb. 26

Staff_BentonWilsonThank you to everyone who wrote a special message for Pastor Wilson and Pam Benton this past Sunday. Don't forget to join us this Sunday, Feb. 26 (Pastor Benton's last Sunday as our interim pastor) immediately following worship for a reception/celebration for the Bentons. As we prepare to welcome Pastor Scott Sauls as our Senior Pastor beginning the first week of March (preaching his first sermon as pastor on Sunday, March 4), we also look forward to honoring the Bentons and showing our deep appreciation for them. Be sure to write a special message on the cards provided in the narthex before or on Sunday, Feb. 26!

Women's Ministry

Pause, Ponder and Pray

Please join Women’s Ministry as we Pause, Ponder and Pray for our annual retreat, for one another, for the body, for our church, community and nation. Beginning Friday, February 24, through Thursday, March 1, you will be receiving a daily email with specific prayer needs for that day. We are not asking you to gather at the church but to pray each day and throughout that day as the Lord directs your time and keeps you aware of the request. This is a busy time in Women’s Ministry as well as in the life of our church body and nation; let us join together as women in the church and devote ourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful (Col. 4:2) for what the Lord has done, is doing and will do.

Friendship Lunch Group—Thursday, March 1

Please join other women (ages 55 plus) on the first Thursday of each month as we share lunch and learn more about our church or our community. On Thursday, March 1, Sharon Kinney will share her story of adoption and restoration! Please bring your own sandwich (salad, dessert and beverage provided) at 12:15 p.m. in the Parlor. For more information, contact Peggie Metra at .

Leading Others Into The Word—Saturday, March 17

Join other women from the Nashville Presbytery to hear Kathleen Nielson, author of The Living Word Bible study series, speak about Leading Others Into The Word on Saturday, March 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Faith Presbyterian Church.  Presented by the Nashville PresWic, this discussion is designed for any woman who would like to learn more about how to study the Bible and share what they have learned with others. Cost is $15 and includes admission, lunch and materials. For reservations, call 859-1130 or email .
