2008-2009 Campaign - "Be Transformed" - Romans 12:1-2

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God --
this is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the
renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Pray . . .

Dear Family,
Do you intently ask God to fulfill His primary purpose in sending His Son into this world? Do you passionately request the
very thing that was central to the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus?

Do you daily petition the Holy Spirit to use you in accomplishing that glorious goal? What is it? We pray for it every time we
offer up our Family Prayer: “Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom Come!”

There it is! The kingdom of God! Yet it is surprising how few believers understand that God’s main concern in all of creation
is the building of His Kingdom; and it is surprising how few believers understand what an honor God grants in sharing that
glorious task with us.

How should we respond? By gratefully offering ourselves as living sacrifices – a challenging, far reaching, all consuming,
never ending act of true worship. Hence the theme verse for this year’s conference. Trusting that all of us will faithfully
follow Paul’s urging, I am,

His—yours, Wilson Benton

Be transformed . . .

“This coming year enjoy new friendships while serving in community, rejoice in seeing the impact one caring person can
have on a hurting heart, cry tears of joy as a lost soul may come into a saving relationship with his Savior, experience the
power of giving hope in a moment of darkness, see value in doing little things knowing God will use them in mighty ways.
This year, continue to pray, give and go as the Lord leads us all to be transformed!”
