Zoe Mentoring Program

What Zoe Is

Zoe is the Greek word for overflowing, abundant life. The goal of Zoe is spiritual vitality!

Zoe Mentoring is women sharing LIFE through discipleship, spiritual mentoring and biblical friendship. Zoe pairs women of different levels of spiritual maturity who commit to share time and life experiences. Zoe mentors encourage friends to grow toward maturity in relationship with God, utilizing His Word, prayer, Christian friendship, example and encouragement.

How Zoe Works

Any woman of Christ Presbyterian Church can sign up to receive a mentor. She will be paired with a mature Christian woman who has been trained to disciple and mentor others. Zoe friends decide when, where and how often to meet. They choose goals that are suited to their current concerns and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide their friendship.

Why Zoe Works

Mentors learn from Scripture to share their lives:

"But we were gentle among you, like a nursing mother taking care of her own children. So, being affectionately desirous of you, we were ready to share with you not only the gospel of God but also our own selves, because you had become very dear to us...For you know how, like a father with his children, we exhorted each one of you and encouraged you and charged you to walk in a manner worthy of God, who calls you into his own kingdom and glory."1 Thessalonians 2:7-8, 10-11
