Christ Presbyterian Academy presents this energetic musical, reminiscent of the styles of Harry Connick, Jr., Frank Sinatra, and Michael Buble. Come meet the cast of vivid characters: Sarah Brown (Margaret Shores), Salvation Army angel out to reform the evildoers of Times Square, Sky Masterson (Tripp Weir), the high-rolling gambler, Adelaide (Annie Martin), engaged to the same man for 14 years, and Nathan Detroit (Kenton Gott), her devoted fiance’ who is always looking for a spot to play his infamous dice game. The twists and turns of what is considered by many as the perfect musical, bring surprise and discovery for all.
Music Competitions
CPA Band recently participated in the Middle Tennessee State Band and Orchestra Association (MTSBOA) Festival. The band, consisting of 6th through 12th grade students, competed against all high school bands in performance and sight reading. Band members are to be congratulated for the many favorable comments from the judges.
Middle School Concert Choir competed in the MTVA (Middle Tennessee Vocal Association) Festival and received Superior level marks in both performance and sight reading. The Concert Choir has now been invited to compete in the State Competition. This is a great honor from a highly selective competition.
Spring Jubilation
CPA’s light and sound extravaganza will once again be held at 274 Mallory Station Road in Cool Springs. Featuring Vision, the CPA Band and special guests. May 2-3 at 7 pm, $5.
