| The middle school A and B teams will participate from December through February while the high school teams will begin practice November 1st with the length of season possibly extending into March. The middle school will participate in the H.V.A.C. conference, while the high school will participate in District 9A in the TSSAA at the 1A level. Twelve to fifteen individuals will comprise the girls squads at every level of basketball at CPA. These teams will be selected by try-outs. Those students who enter CPA after the try-out period is over, will be allowed to tryout during the normal practices of their particular age group team. Individuals not selected will be encouraged to participate in CPC basketball (if applicable), YMCA, and/or jr. pro.

Thank you for your interest in CPA and specifically in our basketball program. Basketball is a simple game but, at CPA, we do not simply have a basketball program. We coach our student-athletes to play like champions on the court and to pursue excellence in every aspect of their lives, namely the classroom. The Vision of our program is to prepare our student-athletes to be “Christ Centered; Other’s Focused” young men and equip them with skill sets that will carry with them for a lifetime.
Our basketball program consists of five teams - 6th, 7th, and 8th grade teams in the Middle School and Junior Varsity and Varsity teams at the High School level. The Middle School teams will participate in competition from December through February while the High School teams will begin in early November and extend into March. We are fortunate to be members of the Harpeth Valley Athletic Conference in the Middle School, while our Varsity participates at the AA level in one of the toughest athletic regions in the state of Tennessee.
Try-outs will be needed in order to select the individual teams, as we will attempt to have approximately 12 individuals per team. Students that are new to CPA or enter after the try-out period has closed will be allowed to try-out during the normal practice structure of their particular age group. The individuals that are not selected will be encouraged to participate in area youth leagues.

With a Biblical foundation and a love for coaching, Drew has shown the dedication and commitment to help his kids reach their potential on the court, and more importantly, in life.
