2012 Women's Retreat - Re: Friends!
Fri-Sat, March 2-3, Montgomery Bell State Park
We all know something about friendship. Whether we have a booming list of contacts or a seething list of grudges, we've got some experience.
But does that mean we have it all figured out? Could our friendships be better - with spouses? in-laws? grown children? God? Could our friendships be . . . refreshed?
Yes! "A sweet friendship refreshes the soul." - Prov. 27:9b.
Carol Pope and Suzanne Nelson, members of Perimeter Church in Atlanta, long-time friends and encouragers of women, will lead our retreat this year. Teresa Sugar, our Women's Ministry Director, will lead praise and worship.
Please come connect, refresh and learn how your relationships can flourish in a busy world. Check in time is 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Friday with dinner being served at 6:15 pm. Departure is scheduled for 4:00 pm Saturday.
Cost for a double room is $120, a single room is $150 and Saturday only is $65.
REGISTER or DONATE SCHOLARSHIP HERE beginning Jan. 10, 2012.
Saturday Seminar - Jan. 21, 9 - 11:30 a.m., Parlor
Enjoy fellowship, light refreshments and explore how to make a difference together. We invite you to come and learn from Rebekah Summeral, director of Christian Women's Job Corps (CWJC). CWJC serves working women in our community by teaching them the skills to become employable and to retain their jobs. Also, hear from a woman currently in the program tell about the CWJC's unique program and how it changes lives. Let's learn how the women at Christ Presbyterian can use their skills to help others outside of our church communtiy. Email to reserve your place.
