CREATIVE WRITING
ARTS ON THE WRITTEN PAGE
This camp is for anyone who’s ever wanted to be a writer; who wants to tell a story, to give others a voice through words. Whether you are interested in writing a book, poetry, song, musical theatre, comic or serious performance pieces, you are invited to learn some of the basic tools involved with the writing process. Each day of the week we will focus on great writers, the common denominators that make up powerful writing, and how to begin finding your writer’s voice. Come prepared with, pen, paper, and creative energy! The fun is about to begin!

DANCE
LET’S DANCE!
This four-day camp is designed for the young dancer; this camp provides an introduction to ballet as well as basics in creative movement and dance for storytelling! Parents are invited to a showcase presentation the final half-hour on the last day of camp.

MUSIC
RECORDING STUDIO 101
Open Call: Seeking talented singer-actors interested in working on a brand new children’s musical! You will learn and perform a work in progress based on the Psalms from King David. By the end of the week, each participant will have had a private voice lesson, an audition tutorial, instruction on studio singing and experience being in a live performance. As a bonus, you will be given a CD from the camp recording and enjoy a listening party with your parents. Singer/songwriter/worship leader Anna Flautt joins CCM recording artist/author/speaker Bonnie Keen to bring you a week of fun with their new musical.

RECORDING STUDIO 201
Emails....who needs ’em? Voice mail... take or leave ’em.
But TEXTING... now you’re talking. Abbreviations preferred. It’s a mini-musical about the art of the cell phone; “NBD...GIIC.” Want to break the text code? Then sign up for our workshop. Learn the ins and outs of studio singing, auditioning and a few new acting skills. Each participant will receive a private voice lesson, an audition tutorial, and leave with a CD from the week’s recording session! Be a part of discovering what you do best and how to improve your performance skills. Singer/songwriter/worship leader Anna Flautt joins CCM recording artist/author/speaker Bonnie Keen for a week of fun and performance.

STRIKE UP THE BAND
If you plan to join Band, and you are excited to get started playing OR if you are a returning player, this camp offers a jump-start on your techniques and music for next year! Along with fun games to introduce you to new instruments, you will increase your proficiency on the instrument you have chosen through group rehearsal and a private lesson. You’ll be set to enjoy music all summer and strike up the band next year!

GUITAR CAMP
Come learn to play the guitar and begin to speak the new language of strings! This camp is designed for the beginner guitarist no matter the age! Campers will leave with music to play the rest of the summer and a new skill to enjoy for the rest of their lives!

THEATRE
CURTAIN CALL
An action-packed exploration of the multi-faceted skills of theatre. Each day will provide the opportunity to create, perform, laugh and learn! Campers will gain a working knowledge of theatre production and will discover their own creative gifts through acting, scriptwriting, directing, set design, stage management, and more. Campers will present a Showcase Performance for parents and friends from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM on the last day of camp.
